Baxter Leadership Programs
As the challenges of leading in healthcare become more complex, healthcare institutions have increasingly emphasized the importance of leadership training for physicians. For the past two years, Baxter Healthcare and 7 Communications have collaborated to bring together a select group of Canadian nephrologists to explore and engage in a unique, customized Leadership and Change Management program. Aligned with Brian Golden, Rotman Chaired Professor of Strategic Management and Executive Director of The Centre for Health Sector Strategy of the The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto; the program provides physicians with Leadership Training applicable to their everyday duties as a healthcare practitioner. The two-day program takes the assembled group through interactive sessions on organizational alignment and physician leadership, influencing skills and a full day on leading change.
